The studio

Ivory has been photographing this city since 1972. Dina Ivory grew up in her family's portrait studio and has spent more than thirty years behind the camera in it, long enough that she now photographs the weddings and the children of babies she once had on the same set. Clients travel from across the country for a session.

Tony Ivory has been on staff since 2001 and builds the studio's digital artwork, which is what makes the fantasy portraits possible. Elizabeth Crane has spent over twenty years here as portrait consultant, helping families work out what size a portrait wants to be, how it should be finished, and which wall it belongs on.

Nothing here is a download and a handshake. Portraits are chosen in person at the studio on Bannerman Road, printed properly, and framed to the room they are going into. Every session carries the same promise the studio has always made: you will be thrilled with your portraits.
